Teeth grinding or Bruxism is a common, treatable condition. The Masseter muscles, or chewing muscles, are responsible for clenching the jaw and are the strongest muscles of the body. We use BOTOX injections into these areas, to help relax and therefore release the tension and pain caused by contracted Masseters.
You will be assessed by one of our Doctors, in order to identify individual trigger points. BOTOX will then be injected directly into the Masseters, to cause the desired relaxation. You would then be assessed 2 weeks after the procedure to ascertain whether any further top up of BOTOX is required for better outcome.
